My Story

I am Lala, UK based artist, specialising in modern contemporary art.

My love to paint started very early, as far as I can remember myself, when my mum used to take me to the art classes at the age of 5. I could never give it up since then, however it has been a long journey before I came back to art and become a self-representing artist. My life and professional career in energy sector took me to a completely different path and even countries, giving me amazing years of experience of different climates, cultures, interests. I do use these experiences in my paintings that take me to another limitless, imaginative and fascinating worlds.  My expressive nature is translated into my art, where I experiment with variety of colours, different textures and media, to bring life, feelings and vibrancy to my artworks.

I often asked, what I was thinking of while creating my artwork. I can hardly give a reasonable answer to this question. This process is like a miracle, meditation, you follow your instincts, unconsciousness, you letting it go. I often paint quickly, messy, with passion that gives me the greatest joy and pleasure.
